life and livin'

death will come to us all, someday. i think it's a good thing because it allows the earth to freshen itself, as it were.

i recently had a near death experience. it's amazing how much one will concentrate on surviving when in a situation like that.... there was no life flashing before my eyes or anything like that. all i can say is that you've got to be ready for it to happen at any time, anywhere.

the strongest thing that i had/have going for me is that i am comfortable with the things that i have accomplished in my life and i am satisfied with the adventures that i have had and am having. if death comes in the next 5 minutes for me, i am prepared to meet it.

of course, you want to tell people that you love goodbye, but the only thing i can say to that is that you should have been doing that all along and not taking your time with special folks for granted. life is too short, anyway, so wasting or killing time just ain't an option.

live, live, live while you can.
